SEO Toolbar App For Firefox

ToolbarI am big fan of Aaron Wall and the SEO Book products. I believe he offers sound SEO advice and products. I know it has been awhile since he released the SEO Toolbar application for Firefox, but I decided now would be a great time to review this Firefox app.

Let preface this app review by stating you must use Firefox to take advantage of the SEO Toolbar app. While this might be a difficult change for some, I totally believe it will be worth it. It was for me. I only use Firefox now.

Below you will find a list of features I use on a daily basis.

  1. First and foremost, you can download SEO Tool bar for free. Don’t mistakes Aaron’s kindness for lack of features or quality. This is one heck of an SEO resource.
  2. The toolbar offers basic SEO information including site PR, page PR, directory data, and social media data. All this information can be exported into an excel sheet.
  3. SEO Rank checker is a huge plus. The rank checker save so much time. I like being able to input in several keywords and URL’s. You can also save keyword lists for use later.
  4. The Competition tab offers information about rankings, keyword data, IP information, and whois data.
  5. RSS Feeds of popular SEO and industry websites.
  6. There is a “highlight nofollow” tab which is great when you are link building.
  7. While I don’t customize the toolbar everyday it is nice to know that I CAN customize it anytime that I would like. The SEO Toolbar is very flexible.

I like researching competition, popular bloggers, or expert SEO’s. This application offers a solution to individuals with similar interests as me. With one click of the SEO XRay button you can see lots of SEO data including page headings, internal links, external links, and meta data. Also within this feature you will have access to Aaron Wall’s keyword density tool. Again, like in most features of the SEO Toolbar, you can export all of this data into an excel sheet.

seo-keyword-researchKeyword research is another great use for the SEO Toolbar. You are given a blank white space for entering keywords. You will then be able to hit the green book next to the white space to pull up websites in a new browsing tab. The green book also offers a drop down arrow where you can select different keyword tools and websites. Some features include Quintura, Google Trends, Adwors Traffic Estimator, SEO Book Keyword Tool, Wordtracker and few other tools. This is almost like a one stop shop for keyword research.
