2010 Resolutions For My Wife
In a continuing effort to make my life and marriage better I have compiled a list of new years resolutions with my wife in mind. Some of the listed resolutions will be easy while others are going to be very difficult. In no particular order the resolutions are…
- After only one request I will take the trash out. Mutiple requests are so 2009.
- Despite the fact that lewd jokes are funny to me I will limit them during cuddling time.
- Even though I do not have to be in the office till about 9:30 a.m. I will do my best to wake before (or at least at the same time) as my wife.
- I will limit the amount of time I watch football to Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday (sorry, some things are not going to change).
- I will not go out to lunch everyday of the week.
- I will tend to my garden everyday of the week.
- I will not yell at the TV/XBOX 360 when I am getting beat.
- I will try and conquer my fear of elevators so that the next time my wife delivers (not pregnant yet) I will not need to ask a random hospital worker to wheel her to labor and delivery.
- I will not argue with my wife unless I am positive that I am right–pretty sure is not good enough anymore.
- I will try and conquer my fear of flying. I will at least stop asking strangers next to me about the dynamics of flying and how they think flying works.
- I will spend no more than 30 minutes a day watching re-runs of Friends, Seinfeld, or The Office.
- I will not challenge my wife to biblical debates without giving her a chance to respond.
- I will publicly laugh at my wife’s jokes to help encourage everyone one else to laugh.
- I will do my best to not embarrass my wife when we are in large groups.
- I will do my best to not pick up random items around the house and place them in the trash can. I will clarify that the items are trash first.
- I will not pick my nose while I am driving (this will be a hard one).
While this list could go on and on I think this is enough for one year.

ha ha ha!
I also have a fear of flying. I have never flown. Don’t plan on it and have made no resolutions about it either.
Carrie, I hate flying so bad. This kinda sucks since I enjoy traveling over seas.
