Guest Blogging Guidelines
Do you want to gain more readers and visitors to your blog? Are you interested in generating permanent, do-follow links to your blog? Like most, I am sure that your answer is a resounding…Yes! Here at Daddy Dewberry we not only accept guest posting, but we encourage it. Currently, we accept guests post under a wide range of topics including Mommy Monday (mainly for Dads), any SEO topics, travel advice and advice/tips on parenting.
Guidelines For Guest Posting
- Articles must be of reasonable length (use your best judgment–around 500 words).
- You must submit original copy that has not been published on any blog or website before.
- Stay focused on your topic of choice.
- Topics must be family friendly and written in good taste (no profanity or abusive language).
- If your article is accepted and published on Daddy Dewberry it cannot be published on any other website.
What You Receive For Guest Posting
- The first line of the post will be a link to your website.
- You are allowed (within reason) to add links within your post. Please limit the links to your own websites.
- You will receive a 50 word bio at the end of your post.
- You will be able to socially promote your posts…if you want (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
- Very popular articles have the option of being “featured” on the side bar.
How To Submit A Guest Post
If you would like to submit a guest post please email me at marc @ daddydewberry.com. I would all submissions to be in an email attachment. Please follow the format listed below:
- Intro – A one line sentence with your name (linked). Something along the lines of “Guest Blog by…”
- Body – Article in its entirety (including links).
- Bio – 50 word biography (linked again)
I reserve the right to remove excessive links, add comments, or make grammatical or spelling changes. I will do my best to not edit content. Thanks and happy blogging!
