About Me

My name is Marc. I am a husband, a new dad (more coming soon), a conservative, Certified Teacher, SEO consultant, biblical apologist (self appointed title), a son, a brother, a dog owner, a Seinfeld fan, and a crazy football fan.

I work full time for a small family business owned by my in-laws. We own a vacation rental company located in the Smoky Mountains. We rent and manage Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg cabins. Although my title is SEO, I talk with future owners, handle all marketing aspects, occasionally talk with guests, and pretty much anything the company needs. Here recently, I have found myself spending some time consulting with other vacation companies. It is definitely helping me sharpen my SEO skills and business skills. I am currently working with a beach rental company out of Fort Morgan AL.

Idea For This Blog

Marriage will teach you things about yourself and your spouse you never wanted to learn. The idea enterted my head when both my wife and son got sick with a stomach virus. Beside dealing with the ugly stomach bugs, you learn how much you love someone when you watch them throw up. During one awkard heaving session, I found some humor during the yuck and  got the giggles. Not that people want to hear about stuff like that, but I am sure everyone can related.

Because this blog was going to be about my life, I decided to include travel issues, blogging tips, and SEO advice. I don’t claim to have the answers, but adding another set of eyes on any issue might help.
